Do you think you’re a great Sugar Daddy? Chances are you probably do, but my guess is you’re wrong. As men we often overestimate how well we are doing in the relationship department. When it comes to being Sugar Daddies we often forget that our Sugar Babies want more than just Sugar. Just as we want to spend time with beautiful, charismatic and interesting women, they would like to spend time with charming, insightful and fun men.

Today’s post will give you some pointers on how to be a great Sugar Daddy, from a man’s point of view. Check your ego at the door and continuing reading to become the best Sugar Daddy you can be.

Be Energetic

A Sugar Daddy has to be in shape physically and mentally, and look it no matter what his age is. Having a relatively high energy level to keep people engaged is a must. One of the best compliments I ever received on a first date from a prospective Sugar Baby was “You are so youthful!”

Aside from the looks, a Sugar Daddy needs to have a great attitude about life and look forward to new adventures every day. Think about it: do you really think a Sugar Baby would want to spend time with you in a social or friendship context if you are always acting like a stick in the mud? I doubt it.

Share Your Interests

As a Sugar Daddy you should have interesting things to say: whether it’s stories about business or personal stories about your life and travels a Sugar Daddy must be engaging to the opposite sex. Even if you aren’t so inclined it’s time to become a bit of an extrovert

Having a variety of interests is important. In my view, the Sugar Daddy should be able to introduce his Sugar Baby to activities that she wouldn’t be able to find on her own. Perhaps a formal benefit at a major museum, an art gallery or a tour of a vineyard. My point is, just going out for dinner and drinks gets a bit monotonous after a while.

Personality Matters

A Sugar Daddy should be honest and realistic at all times. Don’t make promises you don’t intend to keep and if something happens and you are no longer able to fulfill a promise, just be upfront about it. Be a man of your word. There is nothing attractive about becoming an old flake.

Take pride in being a mentor for your Sugar Baby. Teach her things and be the one she wants to come to for advice and guidance.

The Sugar Daddy has to have a great sense of humor and be self-confident about what he has achieved in his career and his life. After all, besides money, it’s these personality traits that will make an older man attractive to a woman half his age

Before you decide to engage in a mutually beneficial relationship you should make sure you understand how these types of relationships actually work. If you decide you are indeed ready to become a benefactor  then implementing the above tips will help you become a great Sugar Daddy to any Sugar Baby that comes along.
