Sugar Travels: Las Vegas Edition

High-end clubbing?  Check.  Luxe hotels and spas?  Check.  Designer shopping? Check! With all those things and more, Vegas has all the ingredients for an unforgettable vacation.  Whether you go with a Sugar Daddy or go to meet a Sugar Daddy, here are some pointers on where to stay and what to do to make your trip extra sweet.

The Bellagio is hands-down my favorite hotel to stay in Vegas.  It’s luxe and tasteful, and has an incredible world-class spa—arguably the best, most efficient spa I’ve ever been to!  And honestly, the hotel is worth checking out even if you don’t end up staying there.  If nothing else, be sure to catch the fountains in action—they do a show every 15 minutes or so!

A close second would have to be the Palazzo, as it’s equally luxe and tasteful as the Bellagio.  It’s connected to the Venetian by an indoor recreation of Venice, with a serene river weaving through shops and restaurants.

The Cosmopolitan is also a fun, chic hotel that’s right next to the Bellagio.  My two favorite highlights are the Chandelier bar, which is simply gorgeous, and the Marquee, which has a very fun pool scene in the summer.

If you’re traveling on your own and hoping to meet an SD during your stay, I recommend the SLS, as it’s cool and trendy while still affordable.  It is off the strip though, so be prepared to cab it!

See and Do

There is absolutely no shortage of things to do in Vegas, even if you don’t gamble!  There’s amazing shopping just about everywhere; many of the high-end hotels have the same designer stores, but if you want to shop for everything in one place, definitely check out the Forum at Caesar’s Palace. There’s everything from high-end watch stores, to designer brands, to Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, and more!

If you go to Vegas during the summer (or honestly from early/mid-April on), I recommend checking out the pool party scene for sure.  As I said above, the Marquee has a fun scene, as does Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel, as well as the Encore Beach Club at the Wynn/Encore.  If you love the beach scene in Miami or want an American version of the Ibiza experience, then this scene is totally for you!

Otherwise, there are plenty of amazing shows to check out.  Any of Cirque du Soleil’s shows are bound to be a crowd-pleaser, with O perhaps being their most family-friendly show.  Love is wonderful especially if your SD loves the Beatles, and Zumanity is perfect for setting the mood for a sexy night.

And speaking of shows, before you go, be sure to check out if your favorite pop star is performing.  I missed Britney’s show at Planet Hollywood, but hope to see J. Lo soon!

And last, but certainly not least, is the clubbing scene.  Omnia is probably my favorite club, as it’s so massive and almost always has a big-name DJ.  I saw Calvin Harris there a couple summers ago, and am so excited that Zedd will also be there now.  Quite a few restaurants also either convert into clubs or have a separate section for dancing—TAO and LAVO come to mind.

Bon voyage and happy sugaring!
