Taking Care of Your Mental Health While Sugaring

When it comes to sugaring it is so important to remember that you have to take care of your mental health. Just like everyone, you need to focus on making sure that you are both physically and emotionally healthy but sugaring can also lead to more mental health problems than some people realize. So today I wanted to hit you with something that honestly, whether you sugar or not, is really important when it comes to relationships (and honestly, even outside of them) your mental health.

I know we hear it a lot these days, and there is a good reason for that. Our mental health is so important, and how many of us are always stressed? I wish I could write everyone a novel about it, but today lets keep it simple and focus it on sugaring.

If it feels wrong, it is wrong

I’m going to tell you the most important thing first, okay? If it feels wrong, it is wrong. It doesn’t matter how much money is involved. I know, sometimes we need the money and we feel like itt’s our only option (and lets be real here, sometimes it is our only option) and if that’s the case, get out as soon as you can; even if that means you have to stay an extra week or two- or longer. What’s important is you save up to get out.

Money does not make abuse okay

Learn to stop the signs of abuse, and never let yourself stay in a relationship that is abusive because of money. There are always options other than that. I repeat: money is never a reason to put your body and your life at risk.

On a lighter note

Let’s be real here, sometimes our mental health isn’t negatively affected by something like abuse or neglect. We just get stressed. And it’s important for us to talk about that as well, so let’s talk about how to deal with stress so that we can work on our mental health in a positive way.

One of my most suggested ideas for stress relief is actually journaling. When suggested, most people avoid it but it is amazing how many people come back to me after trying it and tell me that it was just what they needed.

Fitness is another great option. Not only does it give you goals and results to work towards which will make you feel great, but it releases chemicals in our brain that make us feel good.

Small exercises like love lists or gratitude lists help as well, and they are great to do with your sugar daddy. Get a little competitive to see who can list the most things they are thankful for! Of course, the winner should get a prize!

Back to journaling

As a sugar baby, chances are there are some things that happen that you might not want friends or family to know about. Your journal can be a good place to let it all out because honestly, you’re still going to need a place to let it out- it will help you feel better and put things into perspective.

Therapy

Yes, I said the “T” word. I know, some of you might think it’s crazy, or maybe you think you just don’t need it- that’s okay. But hear me out. You talk to this person, they give opinions and they are trained to help people. Don’t you think someone like that might be useful in your life? I mean, they studied for years how best to help people just like you.

And best of all, if you can’t afford it, this could be something you talk to daddy about helping you out with. After all, every good sugar daddy wants a sugar baby who is happy, stressfree, and working towards the best version of herself she can create.
