Everyday Ingredients Which Can Be Great Makeup Removers

Removing makeup before bed is really important because if you go to bed without removing the makeup it can result in clogged pores over a period of time and then your skin will become more prone to breakouts and other skin troubles.  Getting rid of your makeup will help your skin to breathe which is quite necessary. But if you are hesitant to use harsh makeup cleanser and removers, you can always opt for a natural cleanser to clean your face and leave your skin safe and glowing.

Milk cleanser

You can use milk to gently clean your face. It will help to get rid of dirt and works best for sensitive skin. It is easily available and is also gentle on your skin. Milk also nourishes your skin, boosts collagen while smoothing skin. Using milk to clean your skin will hydrate dry skin and soothe irritated skin. Use a cotton pad and dab raw milk onto your skin, let it sit for 15 minutes and then wash off with cool water.

Oil cleanser

One of the most effective ways to get rid of dirt and makeup is to use oil on your skin. Use of oils such as coconut oil and olive oil to cleanse your skin thoroughly. The oil when applied to your face will remove all the makeup residue and the dust and dirt settled on your face without leaving your skin dry.

Rose water cleanser

Rose water works as a great cleanser. Apply rose water on cotton balls and gently wipe your face and neck. The rose water gently cleanses your skin and aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores. It also leaves your skin feeling fresh with the sweet fragrance of rose.

Yogurt for soothing skin

Yogurt is great for your skin. It not only cleanses your skin but also reduces blemishes. The lactic acid in yogurt will help dissolve dead skin and tighten pores. To use yogurt, dip a cotton ball into plain yogurt and apply it all over your skin. Leave this for about 30 minutes and then rinse this off with cool water.

Honey and baking soda cleanser

Honey is well-known for its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and baking soda works as  a great exfoliator on your skin. To use honey and baking soda as a cleanser, mix some honey and sprinkle baking soda and massage it onto your skin. Leave it for 5-10 minutes then rinse it off.  The honey and baking soda mix will remove all the make-up and dirt from your face.

Aloe Vera Gel cleanser

You can also use amino acid and antioxidant-rich pure Aloe Vera Gel as a natural cleanser. It is a great natural makeup remover. You can directly apply it on to your skin or use a cotton ball to soak it in and then apply onto your face. Leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse and pat dry.
