Monsoon season is so cheerful and romantic. However, our hair and skin think otherwise. It is very difficult to keep our hair safe from this weather. Humidity is a major contributing factor during the monsoon season that leads to frizzy hair.

Do keep these following Beauty tips in mind before the rains hit us:

Keep Them Dry

Rainwater is acidic and filled with dust and other impurities which tend to make the hair brittle and prone to damage, so make sure you keep your tresses covered when you’re out. Wet hair is highly prone to hair fall and other hair related problems so dry your hair immediately. Avoid using blow dryers as they tend to further weaken the hair. Rather use a soft towel and pat them dry.

Don’t color

If you want to color your hair, then don’t color them in this season. Our hair is weaker and easily prone to damage in this weather, so any kind of chemical treatments will affect hair in a bad way. Skip coloring your hair in this season. If it is necessary, then do color your hair otherwise skip it.

Use hair packs

In monsoon season, our hair tends to break more and face more damage. Give them some strength by using a hair mask or pack. Your kitchen can turn out to be a wonderland of natural ingredients that will give you that healthy, bouncy hair. It’s inexpensive and readily available. You can find a fair mask according to your hair type. Use hair masks once a week.

Get a regular trim:

If you have middle-length to long hair, you will dread monsoon. A regular hair trim is a must to keep the hair healthy in monsoon. Or, you can also go for a stylish haircut.

Use a Mild Shampoo

Our Hair does get frizzy and unruly in the rainy season. Try your level best to cover your hair for protection when you go outside. You should also oil your hair once a week. Keeping your hair and scalp clean during this season is important because if rainwater stays on your scalp for a longer time, you will feel itchy. After that, you may even suffer from a fungal infection which leads to dandruff. So regular shampooing is a must. Also, use a mild shampoo and don’t forget to condition.

Eat Healthy in Monsoon

The quickest and healthiest way to a monsoon hair care regime is this – a healthy diet and plenty of water! Drinking water works wonders for one’s hair and scalp. Have a good quantity of green vegetables and fruits in your diet plan. If you want silky, soft and smooth hair try to eat protein-rich foods like egg, milk, spinach. Also, have omega-3 fatty acids. Eating a diet rich in protein, calcium, and minerals will strengthen your hair from the roots and keep them strong and lustrous.

If you make sure you are following the above principle you can enjoy this weather carefree with a beautiful and bouncy hair.
