We can agree that 90’s fashion is best left in the past, but Cher from Clueless had some, like totally valuable advice. Here are the best life clues you learn from Clueless.

Never settle.

Being selective is a right of passage for women, especially for Sugar Babies. Not only are we picky about what a man can offer, we also get to build relationships that are worth more than just a college fling. Being choosey is completely valid.

You’re not everyone’s type.

It doesn’t matter if you’re the hottest bae at the ball, there is always going to be someone who doesn’t think you’re bae. To that, you must say, “As if!” On the site and in real life, don’t hesitate to make the first move, but never take rejection personally. They’re obviously wrong, so whatever.

Money can buy something that’s really close to happiness.

In all honesty, you can’t curl up with $1,000 or snuggle with your purse at night. That doesn’t mean a little retail therapy can’t sure life’s blues. Existing is easier with money, duh, but don’t let it turn you into a jerk.

Everyone needs a best friend.

Hopefully you have a bottom BFF who you can call on for everything, but there’s a 50/50 chance she won’t understand your pursuance of the sweeter things. For that, young Sugar Sister, we have your answer. Post your location to the Sugar Sisters Forum, and find friends near you! This is brand new, so please be patient!

You’ll never have enough to wear.

It’s deep rooted in female (and many male) psyches to have an insane desire to always own new clothes. It makes you feel validated, and fresh. Take it from an obscene shopaholic: it’s much more fun when you have a sponsor to pick up the tab.
