Sugar Resolutions

It’s that time of year to reflect on what we have, what we’ve done, and set goals to make next year even better. Uninspired for 2017 resolutions?  Here’s a few that could benefit any Sugar Baby.

Manners are one of the simplest things to improve on and go the furthest. But for some reason, many people forget about them. They are one of the things that will easily elevate you above your peers and help you to live a less stressful life.

A couple things we all know: say please and thank you; it’s so simple and easy but especially as Sugar Babies. Being gifted frequently, you may forget or feel entitled. It’s a basic courtesy and will remind your SD that you appreciate and notice everything they do for you.

Have interactive conversations and wait for your turn to speak. This is another thing that goes without saying, but people mess it up. When someone asks how you are, answer honestly and make sure to ask them back. Don’t get wrapped up in telling them every detail about you. Also listen until someone is completely done speaking, instead of interrupting them because you have something to contribute.

Finally, the last basic manner that gets overlooked is to be present! That means phone in purse.  No perusing the internet, checking texts, etc. That is ultimately rude and makes the person you are with feel unimportant.

That doesn’t mean anything extreme; if you have room to improve do so.  If you don’t work out, start. Nothing boosts energy, promotes stress relief and promotes confidence like working out.  If the gym intimidates you, buy some workout DVD’s, but make sure you stick to them. In less than a month, you’ll feel and look healthier.

Eat well; our bodies can handle certain foods more gracefully than others.  Some foods make us break out, smell and make us lethargic.  Why would you sabotage yourself like that?  Some junk food now and then is okay, but you’re going to feel good if you are eating clean fuel.

Worth mentioning–alcohol is horrible for your body and mental well-being. By all means, have that glass of wine or a beer, but try not to overindulge.

This can be a range of things, but I’m mostly talking about the people you choose to spend your time with. The people you hang out with have a huge effect on you, like it or not, so make good choices.

This includes your SD or POTs. Look for quality POTs to pursue. They might not be the traditional type you go for, but by expanding your horizons, you could gain so much more.

You stuck with yourself forever, so start investing in you. Take the time to fit in you time every week in whatever way makes you happy. When you give yourself time to relax and refresh, you are able to bring your best self out.

If you are tired and cranky, people will be able to tell no matter how much you try to fake it. Make sure your crazy busy schedule includes time for your #1, you!

What are you thankful for from 2016?  And what are your goals for 2017?  Happy New Year Sugar Bowl!
