If you’re looking for someplace fun and romantic to travel to with your Sugar Daddy, why not go to Paris? The City of Lights has so much beauty, romance and culture to offer even the most-travelled of couples. Here are a few of my Sugar travels: Paris edition.
Hôtel Costes has to be hands-down my favorite hotel in Paris. The decor is what I’d call “Old World Trendy” and the crowd is a fun mix of chic Parisians and flashy 20-somethings. This makes for very entertaining people watching! The hotel is located between the Place Vendôme and the Jardin des Tuileries, with lots of luxe shopping in-between. There’s a spa downstairs, where I had the most wonderful Clarins facial, and the food is incredible. Definitely worth checking out!
If you think your Sugar Daddy would prefer something more conservative or traditional, I recommend staying at the Four Seasons, or the George V. The interior design, and general decor throughout, is stunningly beautiful. To say the food is incredible is an understatement—three of its four restaurants are Michelin-starred, so you really can’t go wrong here!
Speaking of food, there’s absolutely no reason why any traveler, with any budget, should want for good food in Paris. If you were on a tight budget, I’d recommend grabbing baguettes with ham at a small, local boulangerie, or grabbing a crepe at any one of the small stalls throughout the city. There’s also some incredible ice cream at Berthillon, behind Notre Dame. And if you want to have the best hot chocolate of your life, check out the Angelina tea house near the Tuileries.
Needless to say, there are tons of options for those with a more flexible budget. For a hidden foodie-friendly gem, try Le Petit Pontoise. If you’re looking for a more luxe meal near the Louvre, try Cafe Marly. For a convenient bite by the Eiffel Tower, try Le Champ de Mars—I ate there my first trip to Paris and the waiter teased me when I asked where the restrooms were, saying they were at the top of the Eiffel Tower! Last but certainly not least, the restaurant at Hotel Côstes is delicious with a fun scene, and any of the restaurants at George V will surely provide a luxe, romantic vibe.
Those are just the ones I could remember off the top of my head—there are, of course, many more restaurants worth checking out!
There’s so much to see in Paris, I don’t even know where to begin! If it’s your first time visiting Paris, definitely hit all the big spots. Check out the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe. You could hit the Champs Elysees for shopping, but to be honest it’s become a bit overrun and basic. Instead, I recommend checking out the shopping near Place Vendome for higher-end brands—the general scene in that area is more luxe. Your call!
To go a bit deeper, I recommend checking out more of the museums. There’s the Musee de l’Orangerie, Jeu de Paume, and Musee d’Orsay near-ish to the Louvre. If the weather’s nice, I definitely recommend the Rodin Museum. It boasts a gorgeous sculpture garden where Dior usually does their runway shows.
Finally, if you don’t mind going a bit outside the city, the Palace of Versailles is definitely worth the drive. The palace and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking!
Bon voyage and happy sugaring!
